Ultimate Fibre vs Everyday Fibre: which one is right for you?
Share
It's the question we get most: should I get Ultimate Fibre or Everyday Fibre? Both are certified organic, vegan fibre blends from Qenda with psyllium husk as the main ingredient, and both come in Original, Wildberry and Chocolate. The difference is in how they're made to be used.
The short answer
- Ultimate Fibre is Qenda's original, fuller blend, taken in rounds of 3–4 months.
- Everyday Fibre is the gentler, milder-tasting blend, made for daily, ongoing use.
Not sure? Start with Everyday Fibre. Plenty of people also move to Everyday after a round of Ultimate.
Side by side
| Ultimate Fibre | Everyday Fibre | |
|---|---|---|
| Made for | Rounds of 3–4 months | Daily, ongoing use |
| Ingredients | Psyllium husk + 31 certified organic and wildcrafted ingredients | Psyllium husk + 21 certified organic ingredients |
| Serve | 20 g (two 10 g scoops) | 15 g (one scoop) |
| Serves per tub | 25 (500 g) | 30 (450 g) |
| Dietary fibre per serve | 14.7 g, 49% of the daily intake | 10.6 g, 35% of the daily intake |

| Price | $134.99 (about $5.40 a serve) | $121.99 (about $4.07 a serve) |
Both are an excellent source of dietary fibre and a good source of iron. As part of a healthy diet, dietary fibre contributes to regular bowel movements, and iron contributes to normal energy production and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue.
Why Everyday tastes milder
Everyday Fibre leaves out two of the strongest-tasting herbs in Ultimate: wormwood and black walnut hull. It also has fewer ingredients overall, so the flavour is softer and it's easier to take every day. Wildberry is the sweetest of the three flavours and our most popular.
Which one suits you?
Choose Ultimate Fibre if…
- you want a structured routine for a set period, then a break
- you don't mind an earthy, herbal taste
- you want the most fibre per serve
Choose Everyday Fibre if…
- you want something to take every day, long term
- you'd like a milder taste
- you're new to fibre blends and want an easy start
How to take them
Ultimate Fibre: two level scoops in 350–400 ml of water, shaken hard for about 10 seconds, 10–30 minutes before a meal. Week one, once a day; from week two, twice a day.
Everyday Fibre: one scoop in 350–400 ml of water, once or twice a day.
For both: drink it straight away, then keep drinking water through the day. Keep it at least 3 hours away from medicines, and take iron supplements at a different time of day.
Good to know
- Ultimate Fibre contains black walnut hull, so it isn't suitable if you're allergic to tree nuts.
- Ultimate Fibre is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you're pregnant or breastfeeding, check with your midwife or GP before taking any fibre supplement.
- Both blends contain oat straw, so they aren't labelled gluten free.
- Colour and taste can vary slightly between batches, because the herbs are bought in season from different growing regions. The recipe stays the same.
